Opelousas/St. Landry Parish Map Update:   The new, full-color, exclusive St. Landry Parish Map,  featuring insets of all 12 Municipalities; Lawtell, Lewisburg, Morrow and Three Mile Lake, is now available at the Chamber for a fee of $2.00 each.  This type of parish map has never been published for general use in St. Landry.  The two sided map also features an Opelousas City Map.  Ten thousand maps was printed.  Village Profile has published maps for communities across the United States. 

Frankie Bertrand, Pres/CEO stated:  "This publication was not possible without the support of the many advertisers.   In addition, I want to  thank our twelve Mayors of St. Landry for assisting our Chamber by proof reading their respective maps.   I also want to especially thank Robert Wolf of Morgan Goudeau & Associates for helping with the proof reading". Advertisers will receive a number of maps based on the size of their ads. These all-purpose maps will be provided to tourist information centers, and will be used for demographic packages going to prospective businesses and industry, including new residents. 

The last Chamber city map was published in 2003,  with a very small parish map on the reverse side.  Significant changes have occurred in street names, city limits, etc.  Village Profile researched and used information from the State of Louisiana, and La. DOTD.  The new map pinpoints the location of advertisers,  all points of interest, and is on http://www.villageprofile.com/louisiana/opelousas/, who gets two million visitors a month.    

Because of the many request, on a weekly basis, for a parish map, the Chamber felt like it was time to make one available.
